Wylie charges to ninth in Autism Awareness Night at Lernerville
Andrew Wylie returned to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) on Friday evening to compete in a dual program for a rescheduled rain-out from late July.
Starting the $10,000-to-win Autism Awareness Night feature in 20th via preliminary results from July 28th, Wylie charged through the field 11 spots in the 50-lapper to register an impressive ninth-place finish.
For the full program on Saturday, Andrew laid down the fifth-fastest lap in hot laps before placing third in his heat. With $2,000 on the line in the feature, Wylie dropped five positions in the 25-lap affair to finish 10th.
